Please read the following terms carefully. By booking a session, you agree to these conditions. If you do not agree, please do not schedule or proceed with any sessions.

INITIAL INTAKE

At Stargate Healing & Hypnosis, every session begins with understanding your unique needs. When you submit a booking request, our team carefully reviews your information to ensure your goals align with our scope of practice and areas of support. If your request is a good fit, we’ll confirm your session and send over the next steps. If it’s outside our scope, we’ll kindly let you know and provide alternative resources or referrals that may better serve your needs.

BOOKING PAYMENT

All sessions—both in-person and virtual—require full payment or the initiation of a payment plan to confirm your appointment. Once your booking request has been approved, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a payment link. Your session time will be reserved for 48 hours from the time that email is sent. If payment is not received within that timeframe, your booking will be released and made available to another client. This ensures fairness, respect for each client’s time, and smooth scheduling for all.

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & REFUNDS

We kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session (online or in-person). Please notify us by email as soon as possible. Carefully read our cancellation and rescheduling policy below:

Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged 50% of the session cost.
No refunds are given for completed sessions, as fees reflect our time, preparation, and professional expertise.
No-shows will be charged the full session payment.
While every session is offered with the highest intention for a positive outcome, results cannot be guaranteed.
For discount packages or multi-session programs: if you discontinue before using all sessions, a pro rata refund may be issued, minus the full standard rate for any completed sessions
Rates may change, but you will always receive confirmation of the current fee at the time of booking.
Payments are accepted online only via the provided payment link (credit or debit card). We are unable to accept cash, checks, or in-person payments.

STAY IN TOUCH

All communication outside of your scheduled session will be via email at stargatehealinghypnosis@gmail.com, and will be responded to during standard office hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–7:00 PM (Central Time). Messages sent outside of these hours will be reviewed and responded to during the next available office hours.

MEDICAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL CONDITIONS

To ensure your safety and the appropriateness of your session, we may ask questions about your medical history or current health conditions. This helps assess any potential contraindications and ensures your goals are supported holistically. Please inform us of any medical changes throughout your time working with us, especially if returning after a break. if you are under the care of a healthcare provider (such as a GP, therapist, psychologist, or psychiatrist), we may request written permission before proceeding with any sessions.

Please note: We are unable to offer sessions to individuals with epilepsy or any form of psychosis or dissociative disorders, in accordance with professional and ethical standards.

SESSION GUIDELINES & EXPECTATIONS

Session Attendance: Please arrive on time for your scheduled session. If you anticipate being late, contact us as soon as possible. While we do our best to accommodate a full session, this cannot be guaranteed if it affects subsequent appointments.

Respectful Environment: We are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment during our sessions. We will always treat you with compassion and integrity, and we ask the same in return. Clients must not attend sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs (with the exception of prescribed medications). Any form of abusive, harmful, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate termination of the session without a refund, and future sessions may be declined.

Session Outcomes: While we will always apply our best efforts and experience to help you reach your goals, it is important to understand that therapeutic outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Your commitment and openness play a vital role in the process.

Hypnosis Recordings: If a hypnotherapy recording is provided as part of your session, it is for your personal use only and must not be shared, copied, or distributed in any way. For safety, these recordings should never be used while driving or performing any activity requiring full alertness.

CONFIDENTIALITY & CLIENT CONSENT

All communications and sessions between you and Stargate Healing & Hypnosis will be treated with the strictest level of confidentiality. This includes all verbal, written, and electronic correspondence, as well as session recordings, notes, and intake forms.

Your Confidentiality Rights: Unless otherwise required by law or ethical obligation (outlined below), no information you share— whether through consultation, intake forms, emails, text messages, or live sessions—will be disclosed to any third party without your explicit, written consent. All client files, records, and recordings are stored securely in password-protected digital files or in locked physical storage, and are accessible only by the practitioner. Recordings may be taken during your session solely for your personal integration and reference, or for professional review by the practitioner.

Exceptions to Confidentiality: There are specific situations in which I am legally and ethically required to break confidentiality. These include:

With your explicit written permission, if you choose to share your experience for educational or promotional purposes, as described below.

Court-ordered disclosure – if required to present information by subpoena or other legal mandate. Threats to safety – if there is reason to believe that you or someone else is at risk of serious harm.

Criminal activity – including instances of abuse, neglect, fraud, or criminal behavior, particularly where minors (under the age of 18) or vulnerable adults are involved.

Healthcare collaboration – if you are referred by a licensed medical professional (e.g., a GP, psychiatrist, or other healthcare provider) and a progress report is required. You may request a copy of this report.

Optional Social Media & Public Sharing Consent: You will have the option, during your intake process, to opt-in or opt-out of allowing your session experience (audio and/or written narrative) to be included anonymously on Stargates' public platforms (such as Instagram, YouTube, podcast formats, etc.).

If you opt-in, here’s what that means:

Your identity will never be disclosed.

Any identifying details (names, locations, etc.) will be altered or removed to preserve your anonymity.

You may revoke this consent at any time in writing.

If you do not opt-in, your session recordings and information will remain fully private and will never be used for promotional or educational purposes.

LIABILITY, INDEMNITY & DISCLAIMER

By participating in services offered through Stargate Healing & Hypnosis, you acknowledge that all content, guidance, and techniques shared during sessions, communications, or supplemental materials are intended for informational and self-development purposes only. No guarantees are made regarding the effectiveness or outcome of services, as results may vary based on the individual. Under no circumstances shall the practitioners under Stargate Healing & Hypnosis, or any affiliates of, be held liable for any loss, injury, or damage of any kind, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or any economic loss, arising out of or in connection with your participation in these services—whether based in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.

By booking and participating in services, you agree to fully indemnify, defend, and hold harmless any practitioner with Stargate Healing & Hypnosis from any claims, liabilities, costs, or legal expenses resulting from your use of the services provided, or from your failure to comply with this agreement or any applicable law or regulation.

GOVERNING LAW

This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States. By engaging in services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Texas for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions.

REVISIONS TO TERMS

Stargate Healing & Hypnosis reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions at any time, without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review any updates, particularly if returning for additional sessions after a period of absence. Continued use of services signifies your acceptance of any modified terms.

DATA PROTECTION

Your personal information is collected, stored, and used in compliance with Stargate Healing & Hypnosis’ Privacy Policy. By booking a session, you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to the policy, please do not proceed with booking services. Please note: Privacy terms and practices are subject to change without prior notice, so you are encouraged to review the policy regularly to stay informed of any updates

CONCERNS & COMPLAINS

If at any point you have a concern or complaint about your experience, please bring it to our attention directly and promptly via email at stargatehealinghypnosis@gmail.com. Every effort will be made to address and resolve the issue in a professional and respectful manner.

STATEMENTS OF UNDERSTANDING

By continuing to book a session with Stargate Healing Hypnosis, I confirm the following:

I understand the scope of the services offered by the practitioners at Stargate Healing & Hypnosis and give full consent to receive therapy.
I acknowledge that results may vary, and no specific outcomes are guaranteed.
I understand that the therapy provided is not a substitute for medical, psychological, or psychiatric treatment.
I will consult a qualified healthcare provider if needed. If advised to seek medical approval before continuing therapy, I agree to obtain written consent from my doctor or healthcare provider.
I am free to end sessions at any time.
I understand my active participation and motivation are essential to the process, including following through on tasks or audio recordings suggested.
I confirm that all information I have provided is accurate and will continue to be truthful during future sessions.
