• Payment information (processed securely by third-party providers such as Stripe, PayPal, or Wix — we do not store credit card numbers).

• Directly from you, through forms, emails, calls, or during sessions.
   

• Automatically through our website (basic data such as email signup, cookies, or analytics).

3. How We Store & Protect Your Data

• Practitioner records: Client intake forms are printed and stored securely in locked files. Digital copies are deleted once printed.
   

• Audio recordings: Stored digitally with password protection; used only for transformation audios or personal reflection.
   

• Independent practitioners: Each hypnotherapist working with Stargate is independently responsible for securely handling their own client records and data in accordance with confidentiality standards. While we require confidentiality agreements, Stargate cannot guarantee the storage process used by independent practitioners.
   

 

4. How Long We Retain Information

• Client files and intake forms are typically kept for up to 7 years, unless requested otherwise (in accordance with standard wellness recordkeeping).
   

• Audio recordings may be deleted once no longer needed, unless requested to be retained by the client.
   

• Marketing or testimonial consent remains valid until revoked in writing.
   

 

5. Social Media & Testimonial Consent

Through our intake form, you may choose to opt in or opt out of allowing Stargate to use parts of your story for educational or promotional purposes.

• If you opt in: Your testimonial, story, or non-identifiable excerpts of your session may be shared on our website, social media, or YouTube. Your real name, face, and any identifying details will never be shared. Audio clips may be used only with identifying information removed or altered.
   

• If you opt out: No part of your session will be shared publicly.
   

• Opt-in consent can be revoked at any time by emailing us at stargatehealinghypnosis@gmail.com.
   

 

6. How We Use Your Information

• To schedule and deliver hypnotherapy sessions.
   

• To create your personalized transformation audio.
   

• To respond to inquiries or support requests.
